1 Star Service Review
My engine light was on and I was told by another mechanic that it was a misfire of the sensor for my secondary air induction system with documentation to what the codes were exactly for, they suggested that I take it to the dealer. I scheduled an appointment for Tues 10/7. I dropped my car off the night before and told them exactly what was wrong and showed them the paperwork that I had gotten from the other place, I also stated that I was experience a hesitation and jerking with acceleration. At 10:30a I received a call from Micheal, saying my air pump had water in it and my throttle body was dirty but nothing about my sensor. I agreed to the repairs. I picked my car up at 6p, only to have my engine light come back on as soon as a cranked it up, I did not leave the parking lot, I went right back inside. This is after paying $350 out of pocket and my warranty covering $365. They hooked my car back up to the machine and said it was giving the same codes that I originally brought it in for. When I left and the light went off. On Thursday morning, 10/09 the engine light came back on , I called and schedule an apt. for the next morning. On 10/10 I was told that tube running from the air pump to the sensor also had water in it and needed to be replaced. The technician phoned the warranty company but was told they would not cover the charges. I was told that my car would be ok to drive. On today 10/15 my engine light is back on. My issues are that, at no time did anyone check to see if my sensor was working properly, also when my air pump was replaced why wasn't the tubing not discovered at that time? I am aggravated with the inconsistency of service I have received after having over $700 worth of work done on my car and still not having the main issue of my sensor address. I don't feel it is professional for a technician to tell me it is ok for me to just ride around with my engine light on and not try and resolve the problem. I want a straight answer to what the issue is with my sensor and fixed and what further steps I need to take to resolve the situation.

We drove 65 miles to potential purchase a 2013 CPO Ford Edge. While our Saleman Darrell was extremely helpful, the rest of the upper sales staff didn't really seem to care. Having personal knowledge of the CPO program, what Capital Ford was trying to pass off as a CPO was illegal. The wheels were damaged, the tire cut, and the GM's personal stuff left in the car...abosulely unacceptable.
