The Ford Edge is a big, high-value family crossover that has been on the road since 2014. Now, the 2020 Edge offers more luxury, capacity, and advanced innovations at an affordable price.

Exteriors and Trim Levels

The 2020 Edge is equipped with a new front end with a fresh pair of headlights, doing away with the 3-bar grille. The front bumper has an enhanced shape, improved air intakes, and fog lights. The rear end also has new taillights and a tweaked tailgate, while the rear bumper underwent a thorough reshape. The 2020 Edge also has a completely new exhaust pipe and is available in four trim levels: SE, SEL, Titanium, and ST.

New color schemes are available with two rows of seating and a familiar cabin space that offers plenty of legroom and comfort. The 2020 Ford Edge is spacious and practical, fitting a family of five. The rotary gear shift dial on the 2020 Edge requires less room than traditional gearshifts, allowing more space for cup-holders, a greater bin size, smart storage, as well as a USB port.

Engine, Transmission, and Fuel Economy Rating

The 2020 Ford Edge is powered by a 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine that produces 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with 8-speed automatic transmission.

The ST trim level also offers an all-wheel-drive option, race-inspired paddle shifters, and a Ford Performance tuned suspension. The base model delivers 245 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. The 2020 Ford Edge also provides impressive fuel economy ratings of 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.
